Sale of tickets for a drawing of a 50-inch flat screen TV is under way. Sponsored by Western Maine Veterans’ Advisory Committee, proceeds will benefit activities at the Maine Veterans’ Home, Paris. Donation are $5 a ticket, with only 1,000 being sold. The drawing will take place Saturday, Aug. 24, at the third annual WMVAC golf tournament.
