BAR HARBOR — The 15th annual Acadia Birding Festival will be held from Thursday, May 30, through Sunday, June 2.

The pay-per-event festival will be held at the Somesville Fire Station, which is being called Festival Center, at 1157 Main St. on Mount Desert Island. Registration is still open.

There will be several birders from Maine, including Bob Duchense, Bill Sheehan, Luke Seitz and Louis Bevier, leading walks and giving talks.

Keynote speakers, who will also lead walks and hold workshops, are Bill Thompson III, editor of Bird Watcher’s Digest in Ohio, and Marshall Iliff, project leader of Cornell’s eBird.
