Community yard sale June 15

CHESTERVILLE — A community-wide yard sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at the Chesterville Town Office. It is sponsored by the board of the Chesterville Center Union Meeting House.

Now in its second year, this event has proved to be a convenient way for Chesterville families to join together in a yard sale with an accessible location, and to benefit from the traffic that a large event will draw.

According to Board President Carolyn Drugge, all vendors will keep their earnings, although a $15 table fee will be collected from each vendor to support repairs to the historic Union Meeting House.

The board of the nonprofit group will also be a vendor, and is accepting donations of items that may have value for the sale.

Vendor space is still available, and Chesterville residents will be given priority. To reserve a table or donate items for sale, contact Carolyn Drugge at 778-3767 as soon as possible. Deadline for reservations is June 1.

4-H auction is June 1
