WEST PARIS — The West Paris Library will present a display of watercolors and etchings by Greenwood artist Joanie Kintz beginning from May 31 through early August. Kintz grew up in California where she learned to draw at an early age. She explored many mediums through local college classes including oils, acrylics, etching and sculpture. Eventually, she settled on a preference for watercolors. Kintz moved to Maine in the late 1990s.

The Friends of the Library will host “Meet and Greet the Artist” at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 20. All are invited. Light refreshments will be served.

“Mostly Watercolors” is an exhibit of Kintz’s work in landscapes, flora and fauna as well as etchings. Library hours are Monday and Friday, 1:30-6 p.m.; Wednesday, 1:30-7 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
