FARMINGTON — The Titcomb Ski Club is looking for donations for its yard sale from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 8, in the vacant lot on the Wilton Road, between Hannaford’s Supermarket and Jade Palace Restaurant.

The yard sale is hosted by the Titcomb Ski Club Educational Foundation and the Ski Club. All proceeds will be used to pay for new equipment and major repairs at Titcomb Ski Slope.

“This is an important fundraiser for us. As a nonprofit community ski area, it’s important for us to raise the money we need to help keep skiing and snowboarding affordable for area families,” said Shelley Deane, who is a board member of the Foundation.

Donated items may be left under the wood shed roof at Titcomb Ski Area. Receipts are available. To receive a receipt, attach your name and phone number to the donated item.

The club is seeking furniture, sporting goods, tools, books, antiques, toys and other items of value. It asks that no electronics, such as computers, printers and phones, are left.

Any financial donations will be gratefully accepted. Make checks out to: Titcomb Ski Club Educational Foundation, and send to Titcomb Ski Club Educational Foundation, P.O. Box 43, Farmington, ME 04938.

The Titcomb Ski Club Educational Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, and donations are tax deductible. Please contact Dick Forster at 778-2621 with any questions.
