PARIS — The Molly Ockett Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will hold a genealogy and prospective member workshop from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 15, at the Congregational Church Haskell House, 17 East Main St.

The workshop is free of charge. Refreshments will be offered.

All women aged 18 and older who are interested in membership in the DAR are encouraged to attend. Chapter members and genealogy experts Ann Thomas of Augusta and Elizabeth Hotchkiss of Brooksville will be on hand to review genealogy research, offer help with problems and to guide interested women through the membership application process.

Thomas is a professional genealogist with more than 40 years of genealogy experience. She has held numerous related positions with the DAR.

Hotchkiss is a NSDAR certified volunteer genealogist and genealogy consultant. She has many years of experience in genealogy research.
