RUMFORD — The Rumford Senior Center has announced the following activities and events.

On Monday, June 10, lunch will be served at the center from 11:30 to 12:30. The menu will consist of chicken fricassee, cranberry sauce and beverage. The cost is $4.50.

A bus will be going to Portland for a shopping trip on June 13. The bus leaves at 8:30 a.m. from the center. The cost for the bus trip is $7.50.

A bus will be going to the Bangor Slots on June 14. Cost for the trip is $30. Bus leaves at 8 a.m.

On June 24 lunch will be served at the center from 11:30 to 12:30. The menu will be baked ham, mashed potatoes, squash, applesauce and beverage. Cost is $4.50.

Members will be going to the Tall Ships festival in Boothbay Harbor on June 26. The cost of the trip is $55. Bus will be leaving the center at 9:30 a.m.

Jay and Tammi Roy will provide entertainment at the ice cream social on June 30 from 2 to 3 p.m. The cost is $3.

On July 8 lunch will be served at the center from 11:30 to 12:30. The menu will consist of ham or chicken salad rolls, potato salad and beverage for $4.50.

Lunch on July 22 will be served from 11:30 to 12:30. Shepherd’s pie and beverage will be $4.50.

On July 12 the center will host a trip to Castle in the Clouds in Moultonbough, N.H., and the Wright Museum in Wolfboro, N.H. Time of departure will be decided. The cost is $56.

A fall trip to Branson featuring the Branson Show Extravaganza is being offered. The trip will be Nov. 15-25. Cost is $905. A $75 reservation fee is required and final payment is due Sept. 9. Call the center at 364-4700 or Anna Shaw at 364-3164 to make reservations or for more information.
