WILTON — Selectman candidate Raymond Lagasse has requested a recount due to his defeat by only seven votes, Wilton Town Clerk Diane Dunham said Thursday.

Lagasse ran against Tiffany Maiuri for the seat left vacant when Russell Black chose not to run.

A recount is scheduled for 8:15 a.m. Monday, June 10, at the Town Office.

The election was held nearly a week prior to Wilton’s annual town meeting, which starts at 6:30 p.m. Monday, June 10, at Academy Hill School.
