GORHAM — Amsterdam violinist Mimi Mitchell will team up with sackbutt (early trombone) virtuoso Erik Schmalz for a concert of 17th-century music from Italy, England and Central Europe at 7:30 p.m. Friday, June 28, at Gorham Town Hall, Medallion Opera House, 20 Park Street.
The two will be accompanied by Charles Lang, a physician with Coos County Family Health, playing viola da gamba, and by Susan Ferre who will play regal, virginals, harpsichord and organ.
Mitchell has an international career as a chamber musician, soloist, orchestral musician, conductor, teacher and coach.
