STETSON — Police are investing the death of a toddler found in her mother’s car Monday morning.

The little girl’s mother, Leanna Norris, 24, lives in Auburn but used to live in Stetson and has been hospitalized at an undisclosed location, according to State Police spokesman Steve McCausland.

McCausland said Loh Grenda, 2, was found dead early Monday morning in a car outside a Mt. Pleasant Road home. Police were called at 3 a.m.

The State Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy on Monday and test results are pending, he said in a release.

Detectives are interviewing family and friends as they investigate the circumstances of Grenda’s death.
