Town offices in Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls will be either closed or closing early Friday to complete the end-of-year financial books. They also will be closed July 4 and, in some cases, July 5.

Jay will close the Town Office at 11 a.m. Friday to close the books. The Town Office will also be closed July 4-5.

In Livermore Falls, the Town Office will be closed Friday, June 28, and July 4 and 5. Town Office employees have been given the opportunity to use their own time on July 5.

In Livermore, the Town Office will close at noon June 28. It will also be closed July 4. A decision has not been made about July 5, Town Clerk Renda Libby said Tuesday.
