NEW SHARON — A Franklin County sheriff’s deputy is investigating an attempted burglary on Saturday at a residence on Beans Corner Road.
A witness saw a young man enter a shed then leave but did not see him remove anything, Sheriff Scott Nichols Sr. said Monday.
Some items were taken and later found in a field on the same property, Nichols said. The items included electrical wire and hand tools.
Deputy Christopher Rhinhart is working on leads and conducting interviews on the case.
If anyone has information, they are asked to call the the Sheriff’s Department at 778-2680.
