INDUSTRY — Industry Fire and Rescue will hold its annual fireworks display Saturday, July 6, at Wing’s Field on Route 148 near the Fire Department.

An open-air concert featuring two bands will take place before and after the show. The band 43 North opens the show at 5 p.m. After the fireworks, people are welcome to listen to Project 19.

Gates open at 4 pm. Attendiess are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets.

Food vendors RJ’s Hot Dog’s, Mike & Carol Baker, Gold Diggers and Nichols Road Hog Catering will return.

The Franklin County Animal Shelter will sell glow sticks and necklaces.

For those who don’t want to carry home their bottles and cans, the Mt. Blue girls’ field hockey team will collect them.

The Fire Department will also offer VIP parking. For making a $50 donation, you will receive a VIP gate pass to the show, front row parking along with a quick exit after the show, if desired.

To purchase VIP passes, visit Black Bear Graphics, Pine Tree Cellular in Farmington, Madore’s Market in West Farmington and Sandy River Farm Supply in New Sharon. A limited number of passes are available.

Chances to win a free gate pass will be offered on radio station WKTJ, and there is a sale of 50/50 raffle tickets. Last year’s winner took home more than $200 cash.

All proceeds from the show will be used to purchase rescue equipment.

The department reminds those attending to leave all personal fireworks at home.
