The Maine Association for Middle Level Education and the New England League of Middle Schools presented the 14th Maine Scholar Leader Awards to more than 70 middle level students from throughout the state. The award is presented to two students from each participating middle school in Maine. Morgan Eliasen and Amanda Alberda, eighth-graders, were chosen from Lewiston Middle School.
