MINOT — At the June meeting the Minot Historical Society enjoyed the reports of the Junior History Club as to the projects they have participated in this past year.
Among the reports were hearth cooking, Maine trees, the Civil War, the Emancipation Proclamation and William Ladd.
The next meeting will be a walking history tour of Minot Corner led by James “Mac” McKinley on Tuesday, July 9. Meet at the church at Minot Corner at 5 p.m.
Bring dessert to share and your own sandwich. Beverages and paper supplies will be furnished.
