On June 23, we had a bike ride in memory of our brother and friend, Todd Bergeron. There were bikers in the front and I drove my truck with a sign on the back, informing others of what we were doing.
We left CMCC and drove along Route 4. We then went to Upper Street, where we found the perfect spot to let some of his ashes go and to say goodbye.
The respect we received was overwhelming. Not one car passed us as we rode through Auburn, Turner, Leeds, Wayne, Winthrop and Monmouth. The cars stayed behind us.
We arrived safely and had a lunch and let balloons go.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank all those members of the public who showed us such respect. It really was overwhelming.
