WEST PARIS — The West Paris Historical Society had 18 in attendance at its June meeting. Guest Rodney Abbott read patriotic poems from years gone by and Elaine Emery played patriotic songs from far away.
Annual dues are now due.
Money calendars will be sold in July. The drawing will be held on July 27 preceded by dessert.
The next meeting will be held Monday, July 15, with a potluck supper at 6 p.m. and a brief meeting at 7 p.m. Guest Hugh Swan will talk about hobos and trains of years in the past. Bring a hot or cold dish to share.
