CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Ryanne Dailey of Carthage, a 2013 graduate of Dirigo High School, was selected to represent Maine as a delegate to the 2013 National Youth Science Camp held in West Virginia from June 26 to July 20. Dailey is planning to study chemical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass., this fall.
Dailey joins 121 other top science students from across the nation and around the world for the acclaimed honors science leadership program. The delegates will be immersed in science lectures and hands-on directed studies led by some of the top scientists and professors from around the world. They will also have the opportunity to embark on many outdoor adventures, including climbing, camping, caving and mountain biking.
