FARMINGTON — Police are investigating an assault with a baseball bat at Sunny Hill Apartments on Fairbanks Road on Monday evening.
A man, who has not been identified, was hit in the forehead with a bat Farmington officer Bridgette Gilbert said Tuesday. The man was transported to Franklin Memorial Hospital by NorthStar ambulance.
A juvenile was given a court summons on a charge of assault, she said.
Police received a report Monday evening of a man walking on Fairbanks Road carrying a baseball bat and looking angry, Sgt. Michael Adcock said. Moments later, at about 6:10 p.m., they received a call about the assault at Sunny Hill apartment complex. Some tenants and some visitors were involved, Gilbert said.
The investigation in continuing, she said.
