MEXICO — The Police Department responded to 66 incidents over the last week. Among them were the following:

 Theft/burglaries

 * A Rumford resident reported at 7 p.m. July 14 that while swimming at Black Bridge, someone stole his wallet from his clothing. The Rumford resident said he observed a maroon pickup driving away from where his clothing was located.

 * A Whitman Street resident reported at 12:45 p.m. July 11 that someone attempted to break into his house. Police found evidence of an attempted break. There are no suspects.

 * An Intervale Avenue resident reported at 5:02 p.m. July 10 that while their car was parked on Granite Street, someone tried to forcibly enter it. Police found that the rubber molding on the car doors had been damaged, but the car had not been entered.

* A Whitman Street resident reported at 8:19 a.m. July 10 that someone attempted to break into their residence. Police have no suspects.

 * A Highland Terrace resident reported at 9:48 p.m. July 9 that someone broke the window to their vehicle and stole their golf clubs. Police have a suspect.

 * A South Paris resident reported to Mexico police that upon purchasing a cellphone from an unknown male and activating the phone, he discovered that the phone had been stolen. Police have no suspects.

 Vandalism

* Officer Josh Elwood of the Police Department reported at 12:58 a.m. July 11 that he found fresh tire marks on the Meroby Elementary School fields, indicating that somebody had driven on it recently. Police currently have no suspects.
