RUMFORD — A Mass of Christian Burial for D. Sandra Martin of Rumford was celebrated at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 17, at the Parish of the Holy Savior St. Athanasius St. John Church in Rumford, with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt as Celebrant.

Altar servers were her grandson, Preston Martin, and Bernard Poirier. Readings were proclaimed by her son, David, and her brother, Gene Perry. Prayer of the Faithful was proclaimed by her brother, Richard Perry. Presenting gifts to the altar were her granddaughters, Kaiya and Baylee Martin. Eulogy was given by her sons, David and Robert. Mark Belanger was the organist. Musical selections included “Ave Maria,” “How Great Thou Art,” “Prayer of St. Francis,” “Mother at Your Feet Is Kneeling” and “Fly Like A Bird.”

Interment was at St. John Cemetery with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt reciting the Committal Prayers. A reception was served by the Daughters of Isabella in the church hall following the services. Arrangements are under the direction of the MEADER & SON FUNERAL HOME, 3 Franklin St., Rumford.
