TURNER — Looking for something to keep your youngsters occupied this summer? Check out the many courses and camps sponsored by MSAD 52 Adult & Community Education. The week of July 22 offers the following.
Hornet Pride Football Camp: Campers will be focused on developing skills and learning the game from the LAHS football coaching staff and players. Gear will be provided for players by TAA and TMS programs. Campers will need cleats and a molded mouthpiece. Sessions for grades 2-6 and 7-8.
British Soccer Camp from Challenger Sports: There are three options. Mini-Soccer for ages 4-5 with fun games, competitions and skill-building activities. Half-Day, ages 6-14, emphasizing skill development and mastery of core techniques through individual and small group practices and coached games. Full-Day, ages 7-14, that is a more advanced camp for serious players. The focus is on game-related techniques, tactical development and coached match play.
Field Hockey Camp: Grades 3-6 campers will build the skills needed to play field hockey. Students should bring water, mouthguard, shinguards and stick. Grades 7-12 campers will learn new skills and refine old skills to become better players.
