WILTON — A new, juried art show will take place during the Wilton Blueberry Festival. Artists of all ages are welcome to participate.

The show takes place from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Bass-Wilson Building.

Prizes for best in show will be awarded by juror C, a local artist and art educator at Plymouth State University.

All works must be framed and ready to hang with a hanging wire. Pieces may not weigh more than five pounds and works cannot exceed 24 inches in any direction.

Works may be dropped off Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Bass-Wilson Building and picked up Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m.

Items not selected for the show need to be picked up between 2 and 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2. Artists will not be called if the piece is not selected. They must visit the show, according to show rules.
