AMESBURY, Mass. (AP) — Massachusetts State Police say a Maine woman is dead after she struck several vehicles on Interstate 495 not far from the New Hampshire state line.

Authorities say 73-year-old Patricia Foley, of Limerick, Maine, hit five vehicles in Friday afternoon’s crash in Amesbury. She was pronounced dead at a Boston hospital.
