MEXICO — Busy professionals seeking advanced credentials may take courses leading to a master’s degree from the University of Maine or the University of Southern Maine at UC at Rumford/Mexico. Dozens of graduate courses are offered at University College each semester.
Students take the same courses, learn from the same professors and earn the same degrees as students enrolled on campus. The only difference is that students complete their studies on their own schedules, without having to commute to a campus.
Students at UC Rumford/Mexico have access to the following university master’s degree programs: Adult & Higher Education, Computer Engineering, Curriculum Assessment & Instruction, Rehabilitation Counseling, Electrical Engineering, Engineering and Business, Liberal Studies, Literacy and Instructional Technology.
University College advisers provide career counseling and assist students with financial aid applications, course registrations, book orders and computer access.
University College at Rumford/Mexico has computer labs for people without home access to high-speed computers.
