Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School student Abi Egan thanks Sarah Noble, manager at Mallard Mart’s Norway store, for her ongoing support of the NO BUTS! Star Store program. An intern at Healthy Oxford Hills during the past school year, Egan made recommendations to the Norway store for reducing the exposure of tobacco messages, advertising and promotion seen by youth. The store, located across the street from the Oxford Hills Comprehensive High School, participates in this voluntary program, an initiative of the Maine CDC’s Partnership for a Tobacco Free Maine. For more information on how to participate, or to receive a free kit, contact Barb Deschenes, program coordinator at 739-6222 or [email protected].
