LEWISTON — The Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce will hold a Brown Bag Discussion from noon to 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, at the chamber office, 415 Lisbon St.
Litigation attorneys James E. Belleau and Rebecca S. Webber of Skelton Taintor & Abbott will give a presentation titled “For Landlords: How to Handle Tenancy Beginnings and Endings.”
Belleau’s part of the presentation will include information about the process of evictions and the traps for unwary landlords. Webber’s part will cover the restrictions on information that can be sought from tenant applicants and how to avoid the pitfalls presented by the Maine Human Rights Act for landlords.
