WOODSTOCK — The Whitman Memorial Library will host Shane and Collin Miclon of Buckfield for a juggling program at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10.

Library board member Marta Clements said she was able to get the brothers to perform at the library due to “connections.”

“I’ve been good friends with their grandmother for a long time now, and I’ve known the boys for a while,” Clements said. “I guess it all comes down to connections.”

Shane and Collin Miclon have performed with the Circus Smirkus, a Vermont circus where children ages 10 to 18 have the opportunity to audition for a spot and perform juggling, acrobatics, trapeze, wire walking and clowning.

Clements said the brothers are “very good at juggling” and “talented in general.”

“Their father, Mike, was responsible for founding the Oddfellow Theater in Buckfield,” she said. “Collin got accepted to the New York Conservatory of the Dramatic Arts in New York for acting. They’re just a talented family.”

Shane Miclon also works with the EepyBird entertainment company of Buckfield, most known for the Diet Coke and Mentos experiment, which went viral in 2005.
