WARREN (AP) — Corrections officials are looking to fill 20 jobs at the Maine State Prison in Warren.
The Department of Corrections said it wants to fill the correction officer openings by Aug. 26. The jobs pay an average of $34,000 a year with benefits.
Officials said besides having a strong work ethic, applicants need to have good communication and interpersonal skills.
The Maine State Prison has more than 400 employees and a capacity for more than 900 inmates.
