PORTLAND (AP) — The mother of a 9-year-old Massachusetts boy killed by an out of control car on a coastal Maine town’s wharf has been released from the hospital.
A spokesman at Maine Medical Center in Portland tells The Press Herald on Tuesday that 50-year-old Allison Gold of Cohasset, Mass., is no longer a patient there.
Gold was brought to the hospital after the Aug. 11 crash in the Port Clyde village of St. George that killed 9-year-old Dylan Gold and injured a 6-year-old son as well as a 68-year-old local man.
Investigators are waiting for blood test results on the driver of the car, a 61-year-old New York City woman who has said she does not remember what happened. The driver was not hurt.
