SKOWHEGAN — A Fairfield man who allegedly entered a residence and used knives to threaten people inside was one of 18 people indicted by a Somerset County grand jury on Friday.

Three of the names were not released by the district attorney’s office.

Roland David Grose, 53, entered a home on Crane Drive on July 10 with a knife in each hand, said Fairfield police Detective Sgt. Kingston Paul.

“He threatened to slice them up,” Paul said on July 11. The altercation arose “from a dispute earlier in the evening.”

The arresting officer said Grose was intoxicated when he made the threats, said Paul. Police received the call at 9:40 p.m.

Grose was initially charged with aggravated reckless conduct, but was indicted on a charge of criminal threatening with a weapon.
