AUGUSTA (AP) — Police said a bicyclist injured in a collision with a vehicle in Augusta late last month has died.

Authorities said 20-year-old Terrance Ladd died on Saturday.

Police said that on Aug. 30 Ladd collided with a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Leona Peaslee who was driving north on Northern Avenue and trying to make a left onto Mill Street.

Peaslee pulled in front of Ladd and the cyclist did not have time to stop. Ladd had multiple injuries and was taken to the critical care unit at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

Peaslee told the Kennebec Journal (http://bit.ly/16elLQr ) she did not see Ladd.

The case is still under investigation. No charges have been filed.
