LIVERMORE FALLS — The Apple Pumpkin Festival, sponsored by the Jay, Livermore, Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce, will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, on the Livermore Falls Recreation Field.

At the same time, books and movies will be available at the Annual Book Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Treat Memorial Library, 56 Main St.

There are books for all ages and on all subjects, DVDs and even VHS, all available for a cash donation. This annual fundraiser helps the library purchase new books and movies.

Preschool and Family Story Times are off to a great start. Programs are held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays for stories and crafts and at 10:30 a.m. Saturdays for the whole family.

The Wednesday, Sept. 25, Preschool Story Time will be held upstairs in the library, because the auditorium will be needed for the book sale setup. There will be no Family Story Time on Saturday, Sept. 28, due to the book sale.

For more information about the sale or story times, call the library at 897-3631.
