TURNER — Susan and John Stengel of Billerica, Mass., and Jeffrey and Susan Corey of Virginia Beach, Va., are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Amanda Nicole Corey of Virginia Beach, Va., to Jared George Doyon of Virginia Beach, Va., son of Gaston and Julie Doyon of Turner.
Miss Corey is a 2004 graduate of Woodstock Academy in Woodstock, Conn., and a 2009 graduate of Lasell College in Newton, Mass., with a degree in exercise physiology. She is employed at Jordan Young Institute for Joint Reconstruction and Sports Medicine in Virginia Beach.
Mr. Doyon is a 2003 graduate of Leavitt Area High School and a 2007 graduate of Lasell College in Newton, Mass., with a degree in criminal justice. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in intelligence studies at American Military University. He is employed with the U.S. Navy as an intelligence specialist, stationed in Norfolk, Va.
The wedding will be held on Oct. 13 at the Virginia Beach Convention Center in Virginia Beach.
