HALLOWELL — The Harlow Gallery will present Sit. Stay. Art! in partnership with the Kennebec Valley Humane Society in Augusta. The opening reception will take place from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4. The public is invited.

Sit. Stay Art! is the result of an open call to Maine artists for work depicting animals of all kinds. The Harlow Gallery is at 160 Water Street. For more information, visit harlowgallery.org.

The show will run through Saturday, Oct. 26. Sales commissions will be split between the KVHS and the Harlow Gallery, benefiting both animals and the arts.
