DIXFIELD — The Board of Selectmen voted Monday evening to award a contract to repair the Pubic Works garage roof to Western Maine Metal Roofing of Wilton, according to Town Manager Linda Pagels-Wentworth.
She said terms of the contract would require Western Maine Metal Roofing to spend no more than $2,152 in time and materials on the project.
The board has been discussing the possibility of doing work on the roof since February, when former Town Manager Eugene Skibitsky said a series of snowstorms left a “pretty bad leak.”
In other business, selectmen awarded a surplus plow truck to Leonard Hutchinson for $6,555.99.
The board also awarded the winter sand contract to Roland Tyler for $5 per yard.
