McCluskey

HARTFORD — Pete and Ann McCluskey celebrated 50 years of marriage earlier this summer. Ann (Boudreau) and Pete McCluskey both graduated from Stevens High School in 1961. The couple was married at St. John’s Church in Rumford on July 20, 1963.

They built a home in Rumford Center, where they raised three children, Mary Lou, Peter and Nancy. Mr. McCluskey worked at the Rumford Paper Mill and Mrs. McCluskey worked for the Rumford School System. Upon retiring, they moved to their home at Lake Anasagunticook in Hartford. The couple enjoys golfing, attending to their vegetable garden, traveling to Florida, watching their grandchildren’s many activities and spending time with family and friends at the lake.

In August, the couple took a train trip to Gaspe Bay Peninsula, Canada. A family lobster bake celebrating their anniversary was held at their home, hosted by Mary Lou and Eric Warn of Winslow, Peter and Christina McCluskey of Falmouth and Nancy and Ian MacFawn of Denmark and their seven grandchildren, Jake and Carly Warn, Gina Campbell, Sophia and Peter McCluskey and Ian and Willy MacFawn.
