WILTON — The wedding of Chlorissa Kaylee Blood and Brandon George Plaisted was held at 3:30 p.m. on June 15 on Orchard Drive in Wilton. Leanne Gagne of Dixfield officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Plaisted is the daughter of Wendell and Louise Blood of East Dixfield. Mr. Plaisted is the son of Kevin and Tracy Plaisted of East Dixfield.

The bride wore a strapless beaded and lace gown for the country/rustic themed wedding in an apple orchard in Wilton. The bride and bridesmaids wore cowgirl boots and arrived on a hay wagon behind a Farmall tractor. The bridegroom and groomsmen arrived in their trucks.

Celia Blancato, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Kirstin and Krystal Blood, sisters of the bride, Kaitlin Garabedian, friend of the bride, and Ashley Plaisted, sister of the bridegroom. Hannah Marcoux, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

A friend of the bridegroom, Samuel Webber, was best man. Groomsmen were Dylan Orff, Seth Webber, Kyle Jensen and Josh Blodgett, friends of the bridegroom. Bryce Marcoux, cousin of the bride, was ring bearer.

A reception followed on Borough Road in Jay. The couple is residing in Jay.

The bride is a 2008 graduate of Dirigo High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of Maine at Farmington with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She currently works as a kindergarten teacher for RSU 10.

The bridegroom is a 2008 graduate of Mt. Blue High School and currently works at New Page Corp. in Rumford.
