LEWISTON — A dynamic wind quintet known for lively, imaginative stagecraft, WindSync will play music by Anton Reicha, Astor Piazzolla, David Maslanka and Maurice Ravel at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, in the Olin Concert Hall at Bates College, 75 Russell St.

The quintet consists of Garett Hudson, flutist; Erin Tsai, oboist; clarinetist Jack Marquardt; bassoonist Tracy Jacobson; and Anni Hochhalter, who plays the horn. These five virtuoso players specialize in creative, engaging and interactive concerts that inspire audiences of all ages.

The group is known for performances that expand the wind quintet repertoire to include new commissions and a wide array of original arrangements of masterworks. The quintet also incorporates movement, masks and costuming into their stagecraft as a way to further captivate their audiences.
