1947 – 2013

AUBURN — Barbara L.M. Beaucage, 65, passed away Tuesday evening, Oct. 22, surrounded by her loving family and friends at the Androscoggin Hospice House.

She was born in Lewiston, Oct. 27, 1947, the daughter of Fred and Virginia (Gilman) Foster Sr. She was one of 15 children She was educated in Auburn schools. She married Claude Beaucage on Aug. 10, 1967, and was employed at Liberty Mutual, until her retirement. Following retirement, she was a loyal member of the Red Hat Society.

She was most proud of her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years, Claude; one son, Craig A. Beaucage and wife, Jill; one daughter, Caroline Croteau and husband, Brian; four grandchildren, Shelby, Brendon, Breah and Garrett; her siblings, Rose Ellen Williamson, Fred Foster and his wife, Carol, Larry Foster and his wife, Sue, Josie Quimby and her husband, Jim, Midge Levesque and her husband, Bob, Preston Foster and his wife, Davida, Matthew Foster and his wife, Mary, Cynthia Foster, Scott Foster and Sally Goyette and her husband, Bert; her mother-in-law, Pauline Beaucage; and a sister-in-law, Nancy Ouellette and husband, Paul.

She was predeceased by her parents, Virginia Gilman Foster and Fred L. Foster Sr.; her brothers, Mark Foster, Joe Foster and Wesley Foster; one sister, Freda Foster; and two brothers-in-law, Marc and Laurent Beaucage.
