Chris Long of Natalie’s at the Camden Harbour Inn won the title Thursday at the Harvest on the Harbor food and wine festival in Portland in a competition voted on by 200 audience members and a panel of judges.

Long won with his dish of butter poached lobster ragout and thyme butter. For the win, he received $1,000 and a plaque.

The other finalists were Shanna O’Hea of Academe at The Kennebunk Inn, Jon Gaboric of Natalie’s at The Camden Harbour Inn and Brandon Blethen of Robert’s Maine Grill in Kittery.

The competition is put on every year by the Maine Lobster Marketing Collaborative.
