KINGFIELD — There is a chance you may encounter goblins and ghosts in downtown Kingfield on Friday evening, Nov. 1, during the Friday Artwalk.
Visit the galleries, museums and businesses in the walkable village from 5 to 8 p.m. for art, music and refreshments and find out if the goblins from Halloween are still spooking about.
Nora West will be exhibiting a new series of paintings, “A Plein Air Summer Painting from Monhegan to Katahdin and Home Again” at the High Peaks Artisan Guild at the Reinholt Gallery.
Grand Central Station will feature paintings by Kingfield resident Barbara Stewart and jewelry by Laurie Gooding. In addition, Liz Stefany, massage therapist, and Cristi DeMarco, acupuncturist, will offer complimentary sample sessions.
John Orcutt’s newest photography exhibit, “River Reflections – Maine Woods Mirror,” continues to be on display at the Schoolhouse Gallery. At the Barn at the Stadler Gallery there will be works by Ulrike Stadler and other visiting artists.
Other participating venues exhibiting art and other artifacts include CSM Real Estate, the Ski Museum of Maine, the Mt. Abram Masonic Lodge, the Gallery at the Mountain Village Bed & Breakfast and the Stanley Museum.
See you there – if you dare!
