FARMINGTON — Healthy Community Coalition of Greater Franklin County announces that Molly Clark, nurse practitioner, has joined the organization as the Let’s Go! program coordinator.

Let’s Go! is a nationally recognized childhood obesity prevention program.

The goal of Let’s Go! is to increase physical activity and healthy eating for children from birth to 18 years of age through policy and environmental change. Let’s Go! works in four sectors in Franklin County, early childhood, schools, after school and health care, to reach families where they live, study, work and play to reinforce the importance of healthy eating and active living.

As the local Let’s Go! coordinator, Clark will partner with various community members, including teachers, health care providers, child care providers, and community organizations to bring about environmental and policy changes.
