GRAY — The Maine Wildlife Park will close for the season at 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11. Since Monday is also Veteran’s Day, the park will recognize and thank all past and present Maine military personnel and veterans for their service to the country by offering free park admission for each and their immediate families on the final day of operation.

The wildlife park has seen record breaking attendance at big events such as the annual Nite Hike, Pow-Wow, North Woods Law Day, Rick Charette concert and HalloweenFest.

The Wildlife Park Nature Store still has lots of wildlife and nature merchandise, most on sale at 30 percent off Nov. 9 to 11. The Friends of the Maine Wildlife Park Snack Shack will sell the last of their light snacks, with all monies raised donated to the park for wildlife exhibit improvements and new construction.

Family passes will go on sale Tuesday, Nov. 12, via the online store at www.mefishwildlife.com. Photo passes and winter photo passes will also go on sale Nov. 12.

For more information on the park, call 657-4977 or visit www.mainewildlifepark.com, www.mefishwildlife.com or on Facebook.
