1934 – 2013

SUN CITY, Ariz. — Robert “Bob” Turgeon, 79, of Peoria, Ariz., died unexpectedly on Sunday, Oct. 27.

He was the son of Alice and Albert Turgeon. Bob was married to the former Lorraine Ouellette for 56½  years, to the day, and they lived in Arizona for 33 years.

He served in the U.S. Army and was an avid veteran supporter. Bob was self-employed in the family toy store; he also worked in coins and stamps, auctioneering and painting. Once retired, he worked part time at a local Arizona supermarket until his death.

Bob was an avid gardener, thoroughly enjoyed all sports, had a passion for food and had an extreme love for traveling. He and his wife traveled extensively throughout Europe, Australia and the United States. He also loved being around his grandchildren and children.

Bob is survived by his wife, Lorraine; his three children, Sue Beaule and her husband, Brian, Bob Jr. and his wife, Ann, and JoAnn Dickson and her husband, John; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roger Turgeon.

He was predeceased by two other brothers, Fernand Turgeon and Richard Turgeon.
