MINOT — Minot Historical Society will celebrate Mesannie Wilkins and Sea G Rhydr Day on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The day’s schedule will feature a horse and people parade forming on the Hemond Moto-X Park entrance road.
Departure of the first element will be at 1 p.m.
The parade will travel north on Route 119 to Jackass Annie Road and proceed to the former homestead site.
The next event will be a supper including beans, hot dogs, chop suey and pies at the West Minot Grange, Routes 119 and 124.
The final event will feature speakers and a presentation from the Long Riders Guild, a documentary on Mesannie Wilkins by Kevin McShane, followed by memories of Mesannie by town folks.
