LEWISTON – Androscoggin Home Care & Hospice (AHCH) has unveiled the 2013 Remembrance Ornament, which is hand-cast pewter and features a snowman family, a reminder that family is forever.

Annually, AHCH sells the Remembrance Ornament as a fundraiser to support hospice and home care for those who cannot afford it and bereavement services for families grieving the loss of a loved one.

Karen Flynn, AHCH director of hospice, said, “Our Remembrance Ornament is a wonderful way to honor the memory of a loved one or to show that special someone that their loved one is remembered. By purchasing an ornament, you can feel good knowing your money has helped to provide hospice, home care and bereavement services to those in need.”

Ornaments are $20 each and include a tag with the honored individual’s name displayed. Ornaments measure 3” by 2.5” and come prewrapped in a silver organza bag.

A $2.50 mailing fee is required for all orders needing shipment. Orders needing shipment should be placed before Dec. 9 to ensure delivery before Christmas. Ornaments can be purchased online at www.ahch.org or by calling 795-9469.
