Futera

KENNEBUNKPORT — The wedding of Aubray Louise Landry and Nathan Anthony Futera was held at 4 p.m. on July 7 at St. Martha’s Catholic Church in Kennebunkport. The Rev. Joseph McKenna officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Futera is the daughter of Kenneth and Donna Landry of Livermore. Mr. Futera is the son of Bill and Cheryl Futera of Manlius, N.Y.

The bride wore a gown with beaded bodice, flowing ruffled skirt and rounded train. A tiered long floor length veil accented the gown. She carried a bouquet of large and small roses, gathered by a white ribbon. The boutonniere for the bridegroom, groomsmen and fathers and grandfathers were lobster claws accented with a flower. Corsages for mothers and grandmothers were starfish with a small flower and ribbon.

Anna LeBlanc, cousin of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Rose LeBlanc and Elizabeth LeBlanc, cousins of the bride, and Corey Futera and Kendra Futera, sisters of the bridegroom. Cassandra Landry, cousin of the bride, was flower girl.

Dean Krebs, friend of the bridegroom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Jacob Landry, brother of the bride, and Elliott Regan, Colin O’Connor and Alex Taussig, friends of the bridegroom.

A reception followed at Nonantum Resort in Kennebunk, after which the couple traveled on a cruise to the Western Royal Caribbean. They are residing in Rockland.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Maine at Orono. She is a third grade teacher at South School in Rockland.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree in marine science from the University of Maine at Orono. He is an aquarist at the Maine State Aquarium in Boothbay.
