LIVERMORE FALLS — Diane Richard proudly announces the engagement of her daughter, Valen Opal Richard, to Drew Hanson, son of Wendy Murphy and the late Barry Hanson. Miss Richard is also the daughter of J. Thompson of Saco.
Miss Richard is a 2005 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and a 2009 graduate of Salem State University in Massachusetts, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in communications, concentrating in public relations and including a minor in marketing. Currently she is employed at SourceOne Inc. as an energy billing analyst/marketing assistant in Boston.
Mr. Hanson is a 2002 graduate of Livermore Falls High School and a 2006 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point in New York. He currently serves as a captain in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C.
The wedding will be held on March 1 in Northport.
