MONMOUTH — The Monmouth Museum is taking orders for the following sumptuous holiday delights:
Cornbread; gluten-free cornbread with nuts and cranberries; cranberry-orange bread; pumpkin bread — plain, with raisins or with nuts; date and nut bread; apple bread — with chocolate chips or with nuts; pecan pie; sweet potato pie and custard pie.
All breads are $5. Pies are $15.
To order items, call Jackie Wing at 933-2837, Audrey Walker at 933-2862 or Nancy Ludewig at 933-4677. Orders must be placed before Nov. 22.
Items may be picked up under the church at the Packard Center in downtown Monmouth on Tuesday, Nov. 26, from 5 to 7 p.m. or Wednesday, Nov. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon.
For additional holiday gift ideas, ask Jackie about the written history books compiled by local townspeople.
All proceeds support preservation and maintenance of Monmouth Museum.
